No more invoice purchases outside of Klarna & Co. – Why we had to react

In recent months, we have been offering you payment by invoice —without third-party providers, directly through us. We wanted to offer you a little more trust and flexibility. But unfortunately, we have now had to make a clear decision:

Why this step? Because we depend on your support to continue offering fair prices, fast delivery times, and an exclusive range of high-quality magic items.

90% of invoice purchases were not paid – a sad record

What began as a simple service for our customers has become a real problem in recent weeks and months. Despite granting a generous payment term of 14 days, a full 90% of invoices remained unpaid .

Despite repeated reminders, we repeatedly heard excuses like:

• “I wanted to get in touch…”
• “I can’t pay for this right now because I don’t have any money.”
• “I want to return the magic trick – it’s not for me.”

Often the response only came after several weeks – long after the cancellation period had expired , and in many cases the magic tricks had already been tried out , were partially damaged or no longer complete.

An example: The popular trick “sword through balloon”

One of our bestsellers – the "Sword Through Balloon" trick – is a real crowd-pleaser. The effect is powerful, the performance visually impressive. However, once the packaging is opened and the sword has been pushed through the balloon, it is no longer resaleable as new . Hygiene concerns and the material's wear and tear make remarketing impossible.

The same applies to other products such as the PomPom Mini , the Magic Coloring Book or the classic Cups and Balls – they rely on the integrity of the trick, the packaging and the accessories.

Of course, we'll be accommodating if a product is returned within the statutory period of 14 days after receipt . This is your right as a consumer.

But please note our cancellation conditions according to our official cancellation policy :

• The cancellation must be made within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

• Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging .

• Personalized or opened products (e.g. tricks with consumables or sealed instructions) are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

• You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the product was defective.

We carefully examine every return – because fairness applies to both sides.
