Connections

The magician shows a deck of cards and has a spectator select a card. The card is placed back into the deck and the deck is shuffled. Now the magician fans the deck in front of a second spectator and asks them to concentrate and establish a magical connection with the thoughts of the first spectator. Incredibly, under these impossible conditions, the second spectator will make a connection to the thoughts of the first spectator and be able to correctly name the card they are currently thinking of.
