The magician shows a box with two doors, which he opens to show it's empty. He places a giant Chinese coin in one of the two compartments and closes the doors. He tilts the box to the right, says the coin has disappeared, and opens the door on the left to show this. He then tilts the box to the left and opens the door on the right. And so it goes on several times. The audience is not impressed because each time the magician tilts the box, they see the coin slide from one side to the other. In the end, however, the magician opens both doors, and there is no trace of the card! Finally, he makes it reappear in a location of his choosing!
