Crystal Prison by Flat Base & TCC Magic
Crystal Prison – Flat Base & TCC Magic
Crystal Prison by Flat Base & TCC Magic combines precision, close-up intimacy, and a fascinating prediction in a compact cube magic set. The collaboration between Flat Base, the creator of PIN, and TCC Magic delivers a sophisticated feat of magic for moments of audience participation: two dice, a prediction bag, and a locked, transparent box – all designed so that the effect appears absolutely impossible while ending completely clean.
How the effect works
- The magician presents a prediction bag and two dice. A spectator chooses a die, signs it, and scrambles it.
- Both dice are then placed into a paper bag. The magician removes the unscrambled die, leaving the signed, scrambled die in the bag.
- In a dramatic moment, the bag is crumpled and flattened – the signed die seems to have vanished without a trace.
- Now, the magician opens the prediction bag, revealing a locked, transparent box. Inside is the spectator's signed and scrambled die.
- This can then seamlessly transition into further routines, such as an Instant Solve or a pattern match.
Alternative Presentation
Start with an already shrunken die enclosed in the transparent box. After the signed die vanishes, it is revealed that the die in the box exactly matches the die signed by the audience.
Ultimate Transparency and Proximity
Crystal Prison is perfect for close-up performances. After the effect, all props can be thoroughly examined, creating a particularly strong moment of astonishment. Crystal Prison offers not just a simple transposition, but an expandable framework for dice transpositions with strong audience participation, prediction and reveal effects, and seamless integration of Instant Solves or pattern matches.
