From Dollars to Gift Boxes
Transform six one-dollar bills right before the eyes of the audience into individual small items – without complicated mechanics or hidden compartments. This magic effect works exclusively with visual deception and clear sequences of movement. The performer folds the banknotes together, covers the stack, and, after a brief gesture, pulls out six small objects: each a cubic box with exactly seven-centimeter edges. The cash has completely vanished and has been optically transferred into the gift boxes.
Accessories and technical equipment
The package contains only the six boxes. The opaque cloth required to cover the stack of money is not included and must be obtained separately. The colored cubes are made of durable material and arrive pre-assembled. Their simple construction avoids the need for adhesive tape or additional tools and allows for immediate use.
Target group and area of application
The performance relies on open visual inspection, making the effect ideal for beginners, schools, or family programs. No complex sleight of hand is required; essential elements are steady handling and the planned sequential removal. Youth clubs, street performers, or event agencies use this principle specifically because it generates immediate attention without relying on electronics or magnetism.
- No built-in switches, motors, or electronic components
- Routine handling technique significantly reduces training time
- Bright colors stimulate children's interest and active participation
- Can be combined with classic coin and card routines
- Selection advantage over standard tricks
Selection advantage over standard tricks
Many comparable money performances rely on unfolded coasters or magnetic holding devices, which often cause mechanical interference under public scrutiny. This module solves the problem instead through pure sequence presentation. The sequential pulling out of the boxes creates a rhythmic flow that masks technical weaknesses and confirms the complete disappearance of the original material. Providers prefer this variant when they value reproducible sequences, a minimal error rate, and immediate portability.
