Find the lady
The "Find The Lady" routine is a specialized card prop for stage magicians and close-up artists that consistently stages a visual card change through controlled audience interaction. The set contains exactly three cards – two Kings of Spades and one Queen of Hearts – in a large format of 29.4 cm × 18.7 cm. The dimensions ensure clear visibility even from a distance of several meters and fit seamlessly into small stage or gala settings.
Structured process with minimal margin for error
After the cards are visibly turned over, they are shuffled. Two subjects are asked to locate the Queen of Hearts in succession, but they choose one of the two Kings each time. The third participant succeeds. In the finale, the performer changes all three cards into Queens of Hearts with a gesture. This linear structure actively engages the audience, reduces technical risks, and provides a reproducible pattern for live performances and video productions.
Durable material for frequent transport
The prop is based on robust, bend-resistant plastic instead of standard card stock. Even with repeated shuffling, sliding, and storage in bags or suitcases, the cards retain their shape, prevent creases, and can be cleaned quickly. The contrasts remain sharp, ensuring quick audience reactions.
