Can brass

The magician shows a can with a lid. He removes the lid and throws a lit match into it, causing fire to shoot out. He immediately covers the can with a lid, thus extinguishing the fire.

After a few moments, the lid is removed, and the tube is revealed to be filled with colorful objects. The magician produces silk fabrics, streamers, flowers, etc. After a few demonstrations, he tilts the tube over a glass and pours water into it.

He empties it (or so the audience thinks) and takes out some more items. Finally, as if that weren't enough, he pours more water from the can, leaving everyone speechless.
