Crystal silk & spherical cylinders

The magician draws attention to an opaque and a transparent tube placed on the table. Then the magician inserts three different colored silk threads (red, yellow, and green). He pushes the silk threads one after the other into the transparent tube.
The silk threads cover the entire interior of the transparent tube. Then he lifts the opaque tube and covers the transparent tube with it.
When the opaque tube is lifted, the three differently colored silk threads are seen to have transformed into three differently colored balls. The magician shows the empty opaque tube.
