The Butterfly Playing Cards Flagship – the latest and most advanced deck from the Butterfly Playing Cards Family.
The decks – sleek, smooth at the edges, and a joy to handle – have been refined to improve their overall quality. They are printed on Slimline card stock with a True Linen B9 finish.
The beautiful outer banderole with Butterfly-Lock contains an instruction card explaining the marking system, so you can start learning right after opening your deck. The deck includes a double-backer card, allowing you to perform even more magic with these cards.
We have recorded over 2 hours of tutorial videos for you: We go through the basics of the Butterfly Playing Cards, demonstrate a dozen deck-specific effects, and share tips and principles that Ondrej has developed since the release of the first edition.
Here is a list of the tricks explained in the tutorial:
Cut to any named card – Cut to any card in a shuffled deck.
Pexeso/Memory – Find the matching card to a freely chosen card with just one cut.
Cutting with the Three of Spades – The spectator finds their freely named card with the Three of Spades.
Butterfly Stacking – Find any four of a kind with a few riffle shuffles.
Impossible Divination – Correctly name a freely chosen card after your spectator has shuffled the deck. There are countless ways to finish this effect, several of which are teased in the tutorial.
Butterfly Challenge – The spectator selects a card and shuffles the deck. The deck is then cut into three piles. You then correctly state which pile the chosen card is in, what card it is, and its position in the pile.
Butterfly Clocking – Just by briefly riffling through the deck, you can correctly name the card your spectator has chosen behind their back.
Clocking with a Kicker – The spectator chooses a card behind their back without seeing it. You then go through the deck to identify the missing (chosen) card. After that, you call out three numbers, deal the cards, and remove the cards at those positions. These cards have the same value and help you reveal the spectator's chosen card.
Multiple Divination – The spectator chooses multiple cards. While standing back to back, you correctly name each card they are holding.
Double-decker with a kicker – The spectator chooses a card and shuffles the deck. You then try to memorize the order of the deck. You draw a card from a second deck, ask your spectator to name their chosen card, and then, using the random card, cut exactly to it. As a kicker at the end, the card from the second deck matches the card next to your spectator's card.
Double-decker that cannot be explained – This variation of Dai Vernon's The Card Trick That Cannot Be Explained uses a deck to identify a card your spectator has chosen behind their back.
Butterfly Dribble Catch – The spectator shuffles the deck and then names any four of a kind. You find three of the cards, each in an even more impressive way. And for the grand finale, you catch the last card from a dribble!
Each deck contains 15 custom stickers by 8 skilled Playing Card Designers. These inspire you to personalize your tuck case, so you'll love taking the cards everywhere and showing them to all your friends.
