In the world of mentalism, there are countless ways to arrive at a prediction – but only one stands out in our eyes as the most perfect: Open Predictions. Lotto prediction is the most representative form of an Open Prediction effect because it demonstrates the ability to freely predict an outcome without forcing any information.

To achieve such a perfect prediction effect, the use of a covert mini thermal printer is undoubtedly the ideal choice. The PITATA Smart Printer was one of our earliest products that we conceived and developed. Nevertheless, it took over two years – until Season 4 of our releases – before we could launch it. The reason: We kept asking ourselves the same question: How do we make it truly unique?

Hardware-wise, it's essentially "just" a thermal printer that prints anything you throw at it – something conventional printers can also do. Nevertheless, we've done our best to design it with a structure better suited to magicians – including a unique paper setup and a prediction box for the final reveal.

However, we believe its greater value lies in the effects that can be achieved with it – the majority of our work has focused on this. Besides classics like lottery and handwritten predictions, we have developed innovative time-of-the-clock (dial-shaped) and Magic Square predictions – each of these effects would be powerful enough to be released as a standalone product.

We have integrated the PITATA Smart Printer into the PITATA IoT system, enabling it to synchronize and automatically work with the PITATA Watch, Impression Pads and Smart Scale – for seamless prediction effects.

For even more convincing predictions, we have designed a prediction box system that seals the prediction in a glass container. For easy transport, the entire box system (except for the glass container) can be folded flat.

The Lotto prediction:
This is not only the strongest predictive effect achievable with a method of this type, but probably also one of the strongest among all open predictions. The PITATA Smart Printer can predict most lottery tickets available on the market.

PITATA Original Time Forecast:
The audience names any time – and with unobtrusive swiping movements, the PITATA Smart Printer prints a hand-drawn clock that corresponds exactly to the named time.

PITATA Original Magic Square Prediction:
The audience names a two-digit number – and with inconspicuous swiping motions, the printer creates a 4×4 magic square where the sum of each row, column or diagonal corresponds to the named number.

Preset-Outs-Prediction:
You can predefine 12 hand-drawn prediction outs in the PITATA app. This allows you to quickly print one of the prepared outs with just two swipes.

Prediction of any content:
Draw directly in the PITATA app with your finger or enter the desired content – ​​the PITATA Smart Printer will print it effortlessly.

IoT ecosystem
When PITATA was founded, our dream was to create a high-tech, smart, magic system. The PITATA Smart Printer, developed after three years of team reflection and know-how, is one of the most powerful tools in the PITATA ecosystem.

Synchronization with PITATA Impression Pads:
Everything the audience writes on the PITATA Smart Whiteboard, Memopad or Clipboard is recognized via the PITATA app and printed out as the desired prediction result.
By synchronizing with these Impression devices, you can have a spectator write down a two-digit number – and the printer will automatically create a Magic Square prediction. Alternatively, you can have them write down a time, and it will print a drawing of a clock face with the predicted time.

Synchronization with the PITATA Watch:
The audience can set any time using the crown of the PITATA Watch; the PITATA app then controls the Smart Printer, which prints a drawing of a clock face with the predicted time.

Synchronization with the PITATA Smart Scale:
With the PITATA Smart Scale, you let the audience cut a stack of cards and memorize the bottom card; the Smart Printer prints this card as a text prediction.
