"You always have it with you, ready to go!" - David Stone

Ask your spectators if they know what QR codes are. Then, you pull a keychain from your pocket and pass it around, drawing attention to the QR code tag attached to it. Explain that the code is a prediction!
Using your own smartphone or a spectator's, you scan the QR code! A beep sounds, and a card appears on the phone's screen—for example, the Five of Hearts.

In a few seconds, your spectator will choose a card and place it face down on the table without looking at it.
Admit that if the spectator chooses the Five of Hearts, your prediction is 100% accurate, and everything is perfect.

Take out a regular deck of cards and have it shuffled. The spectator then chooses a card and places it face down on the table.
The situation is simple... Your prediction (the keychain with its tag) has been on the table since the beginning. The spectator's card is right next to it.
Now, you ask the spectator to turn over their card. Unfortunately, it's not the Five of Hearts, but for example, the Jack of Clubs.

Your spectators will start to tease you; your trick seems to have failed. Well, he who laughs last, laughs best, as they say. You ask your spectator to scan the QR code again.
As soon as a beep is heard, an image appears... a CARD... the Jack of Clubs!
The card chosen by the spectator! How is this possible? It's the same keychain and the same QR code as before!

Although your spectator is already completely baffled, you explain that this QR code has the strange property of predicting ANY chosen card at ANY time WITHOUT FAIL!

Don't you believe it?
Explain that if you had chosen a different card, the QR code would have predicted it instantly too. As you speak, you turn over the top card of the deck, for example, the Ace of Hearts.
Scan the same tag on the keychain again, the same QR code. Again, a beep sounds, and the image of the Ace of Hearts appears!
How is this possible? The keychain, the deck of cards—everything is perfectly normal, and yet...

Offer to repeat the experiment again and again. Each time, the QR code will display the chosen card without error.
You can perform this experiment all evening long, each time with a different prediction. You always have it with you—for your keys as well as for a trick always ready for any audience, whenever you want!

Although it is completely examinable, QR code will not reveal its secret!
It seems impossible, even crazy... and yet absolutely true!
