The Roentgen Envelope is one of the most discreet, practical tools in the mentalism and magic repertoire. To the audience, everything appears ordinary – yet the reveal happens with an unexpected ease. How It Works

You deal out six cards with different symbols. While you turn away, the spectator freely chooses a card, places it in a small envelope, seals it, and hides the remaining cards. Then, you place the sealed small envelope into a larger envelope and set it aside – from this moment on, it remains untouched. Even if you are surrounded on all sides, you instantly know which card was chosen. The secret is solved in less than two seconds, right before your audience's eyes, without anyone suspecting a thing.
