Small dove through glass

The magician shows a base with two doors. He opens them and takes out a frame that encloses a plexiglass plate. He taps on the plexiglass to show that it is stable and places it back on the base. He closes the doors and a moment later, as if by magic, a silk thread is pushed through the stable plexiglass (instead of a silk thread, he could also penetrate the plexiglass with a magic wand, his fingers, or another object). Then the magician opens the doors again to show that the plexiglass is still intact and stable!
