Astor Mental by Astor

For this trick, the magician uses a transparent plexiglass board, five ESP cards with a blue back, and five ESP cards with a red back. Each blue-backed card has a matching red-backed card. The front sides of these cards have the same ESP symbols. The magician slides the blue cards into their slots on the board in an order known only to him. The spectator sequentially chooses which matching slot the red cards should go into, but they only see the back of the cards. When the magician turns the board around, the blue and red-backed cards are in the same order (from top to bottom).

• Invented by Astor. The trick can be performed twice and the order of the cards is not the same.

• The cards are not specially prepared. The spectator can decide at any time to shuffle the cards at their discretion. The prediction will always be correct!
