The NUMBERS GAFF deck is a selection of poker-sized cards, including 35 number cards and 20 gaff cards printed on the most widely used card in the world of magic: Bicycle Rider Back.
In addition to this 55-card deck, you will have access to an instructional video (1h45) explaining 11 routines that can be performed with the cards included in the NUMBERS GAFF deck.
You can also create your own routines and customize your reveals, such as: birthday, phone number, book page, ... .
The NUMBERS GAFF deck consists of:
- 23 cards with numbers (from 0 to 9).
- 12 cards with 2- or 3-digit numbers.
- 7 double-sided cards.
- 4 cards with mathematical symbols.
- 4 cards with symbols: spades, hearts, clubs, diamonds.
- 2 cards with currency symbols: Euro, Dollar.
- 1 magic square card.
- 1 card with the symbol Pi (π).
- 1 special card: 99 on 1 (with 2 different reveals).
Here are some routines explained in the instructional video:
Chance: The cards numbered 1 to 9 are shuffled by the audience. The spectators then place the cards on the table to form three three-digit numbers. These three numbers are added together, and the result is exactly what the magician predicted. The result will open a lock or a telephone, for example.
99 on 1: You show your spectator the deck of cards with the numbers on them, and then the spectator selects two cards to form a two-digit number. Then you reveal the prediction you have in your suitcase to show that the number you formed is actually on the prediction card. But this card contains all the numbers from 1 to 99. After a magical gesture, the card transforms so that only the spectator's number is displayed.
Cheater's Bet: The magician places a card face down on the table and then reveals five cards with the number 20 on them. Four cards are placed on the table, and the last one is placed on top of the deck. The face-down card is turned over and reveals a money symbol (e.g., €). The magician then introduces a 20-euro note, which the audience can win if they find a card with the number 20 on it. Unfortunately, all the cards are turned over, and none of them have the number 20 on them.
The Magic Square: You present your spectator with a deck of numbered cards, and the spectator chooses two cards to form a two-digit number. The magician then asks the spectator if they see their number on the prediction card, which contains 16 different numbers. The spectator's number doesn't appear on the card, but if you add up the numbers in each column and row, the result is exactly the spectator's number.
