The magician randomly shuffles a deck of cards, some face up and some face down. He selects one or more of the face-up cards. After the selected cards are returned to the deck, he shuffles it again. When the cards are spread out (or fanned out) on the table, the entire deck is magically revealed, and the only cards revealed are the spectator's selection!
