Swede Per Eklund is the mastermind behind this interesting and colorful twist on a classic magic trick. First, you fool the eye—then you fool the brain.
You show the audience a large jumbo card. The card has one dot on one side and four dots on the other. When you turn the card over, the audience can see three dots. Turn it over again, and they'll see six dots!
Now give your audience an aha moment by explaining how the trick works. Simply cover some dots with your fingers and leave others untouched. This creates the optical illusion that the dots disappear and multiply.
But just when your audience thinks they know it all, surprise them with an unexpected surprise: suddenly the dots on both sides change color!
This effect is known by various names, including What's Next, Dizzy Domino, and Crazy Dots. Per Eklund's DIZZY DOTS uses the same moves as the other versions, but the ending is different. It can be performed in a parlor, on smaller stages, or even via Zoom/Teams/Skype/Facetime. It's one of those rare effects in magic that works for both children and adult audiences.
Perfectly produced, solid, and smooth to operate. The card measures 24 x 16 cm and is self-contained. Easy to display and instantly entertaining!
