Dizzy Dots by Per Eklund
The Swede Per Eklund is the mastermind behind this interesting and colorful variant of a magic classic. First, you deceive the eye – then you deceive the brain.
You show the audience a large jumbo card. The card has one dot on one side and four dots on the other. When you turn the card back over, the audience can see three dots. Turn it over again and it looks like six dots!
Now you create an aha moment for your audience by explaining how the trick works. By simply covering some dots with your fingers and not others. This creates the optical illusion that the dots disappear and multiply.
But just when your audience thinks they know everything, surprise them with an unexpected surprise, because suddenly the dots on both sides change color!
This effect is known by various names, such as What’s Next, Dizzy Domino, and Crazy Dots. In Per Eklund's DIZZY DOTS, you use the same movements as in the other versions, but it ends differently. It can be performed in a salon, on smaller stages, or even over Zoom/Teams/Skype/Facetime. It is one of those rare effects in magic that works for both children and an adult audience.
Perfectly produced, solid and with smooth operation. The card measures 24 x 16 cm and is self-contained. Easy to present and immediately entertaining!
