Dove Vanish Box

The magician shows the audience a box covered with newspaper. He lifts the lid and places a dove inside. After a magical gesture, he punches his arm through the lid, tearing the newspaper covering it. He doesn't find the dove. Then he punches through all the pieces of newspaper covering the sides and bottom of the box, one after the other... the dove, incredibly, has disappeared!
