The Design Process
In the early stages of development, we pursued the conventional approach for electronic impression pads – designing a circuit board and chip and embedding both into a clipboard. However, one day, a Post-it note on a desk sparked a breakthrough idea: What if we could integrate the chip directly into the notepad? This would make it the ultimate form of a close-up synchronous impression pad.

Excited by this inspiration, we launched a series of experiments to bring our vision to life. Our understanding of the product evolved as we realized it shouldn't be confined to a fixed enclosure. Instead, it should be versatile and customizable – with endless possibilities for users to make it their own.

Simplicity is hidden in complexity.

Product Details
1. Customizable Outer Casing
The PITATA Smart MemoPad is designed with a unique feature – it has no fixed outer casing. Its compact electronic circuit board and chip measure only 6.5cm * 9cm * 0.5cm, roughly the size and thickness of a dozen playing cards, allowing you to conceal it in a variety of locations. Here are some suggestions:

Memo Pad: The device comes with a hollowed-out memo pad. Simply place the electronic circuit board inside, and it looks like an ordinary notepad. It includes 45 full sheets of paper and is sufficient for 40 performances (the bottom 5 full sheets serve to maintain thickness for camouflage). Additional hollowed-out notepads can be purchased here.

Spiral Hollow Notebook: You can also use a refillable spiral-bound notebook instead of the yellow "Post-it"-style notepad, which can be purchased here.

Memo Pad with Leather Case: The unit can also be inserted into a genuine leather case – for an elegant, high-quality appearance.

Playing Card Tuckbox: With some minor modifications, the MemoPad can be housed in a playing card tuckbox. You can then write information on a Post-it note or index card and place it on the box.

Business Card Case in Wallet: For impromptu performances, you can place the unit in a wallet or business card case and use your own business cards to jot down information.

2. Smart Technology
The PITATA Smart MemoPad offers impressive high-tech features, including those adopted from the PITATA Smart WhiteBoard:

AI Text Recognition: The MemoPad can intelligently recognize text information written on it in multiple languages.

Voice Output: After recognizing the text, the MemoPad automatically outputs it to the magician via a Bluetooth headset.

Apple Watch Display: You can discreetly access the information on your Apple Watch.

Additionally, the PITATA Smart MemoPad also integrates PITATA IoT functions, making it a truly state-of-the-art device.

3. PITATA IoT Functionality
When you write a time on a PITATA Synchronized Impression Device, such as the PITATA MemoPad or the PITATA Smart WhiteBoard, the PITATA App automatically recognizes it and uses Time Hacker or PITATA Watch to set the corresponding time – creating an impossible time prediction effect. With this technology, the magician only needs to focus on the performance from start to finish, and the secrets are fully handled by the AI.

The MemoPad is not built into a permanent enclosure to avoid limiting your imagination. It can be presented as a standard notepad or hidden in a card box, clipboard, wallet, or any other case of your choice.
The MemoPad features wireless charging, only takes 2 hours for a full charge, and offers up to 10 hours of standby time when powered on.
Magnetic on/off switch.
The pen is USB charged and offers up to 15 hours of standby time when fully charged (in just 1.5 hours) and powered on.
For even more convenient peek operation, the PITATA Palm Peeker is also optionally available.
By cleverly hollowing out the area on the back of the antenna, we have significantly improved the range and signal of the Smart MemoPad. A stronger signal ensures effortless connection with the iPhone and Palm Peeker. The distance is now 10 meters.
Writing and drawings can be synchronized with other products in our product line. Including, but not limited to, PITATA UTP-Time Hacker, PITATA Watch, PITATA Pocket Watch, PITATA Smart Printer.
Each set includes two additional ink refills for the pen, which can last a long time if used exclusively for performances.
