The magician reaches into his pocket, takes out a small notepad, and tears out a page. He talks about how powerful our thoughts (or willpower) are and how they influence our daily activities. He says, "Let me explain," and then writes the phrase "I CAN'T DO THIS" on this piece of paper and gives it to the spectator to read, adopt this "negative thought," and try to tear it out. The spectator is unable to do so. The magician takes the note from him and writes "I CAN DO THIS" again on the other side. He gives it back to the spectator to read, adopt this new "positive" thought, and try to tear it out again. Surprisingly, this time the spectator manages to tear it out without any problems. If you wish, you can continue the routine for a little longer. If the spectator succeeds in tearing out the note, you can ask them to try again. He won't be able to do that. The magician says, "Confidence is good, but overconfidence is bad." For all of these tricks, you have to be a magician and then tear up one of the torn pieces of the same paper.
A very clever prop that you can carry around in your pocket and with which you can perform many stunning mentalism tricks. You can use it for close-ups or even on stage.
• The paper sheets measure 9 x 6.2 cm.
• The effects you can create once you know the secret are only limited by your imagination.
• The notebook contains 30 pages that allow you to perform a mental magic effect on 30 different occasions.
