The magician shows two decks of cards, one with a red back and one with a blue back. The blue-backed deck is given to a spectator. Now, while holding the deck behind their back, the spectator must take a card from the center of their deck, reveal it, and replace it. They are then instructed to divide the deck, so that the card is completely lost.

The magician takes the cards back from the spectator and spreads his playing field and the spectator's playing field face up on the table. Both will show a single face-up card, and as if by magic, they are the same card! As a final twist, the two cards are flipped over, and the one with the red ribbon has the blue back, and the one with the blue ribbon has the red back! A simply incredible effect!
