Kevin James' iconic "Snow Animator" effect is without a doubt one of the greatest magic creations of all time; a simple and direct premise full of powerful magical moments, enchanting ingenuity, and an emotional kicker that elicits standing ovations from audiences of all ages and demographics. It's absolutely perfect; almost...
The modern stage magician or illusionist had to create a "fly-out" act, a version of their show that would conform to standard airline baggage specifications, regulations, and weight limits, contain no prohibited or dangerous items (we're talking cheap lithium batteries in cheaply constructed props), not look too odd on a luggage X-ray, be reused for other effects, and pack down as flat as possible. When you fly to a cruise ship, all of these restrictions and a whole lot more apply, making a brilliant effect like "Snow" almost impossible for fly-out acts—until now.
Snowtable is Kevin James's Snow Animator system, redesigned and developed from the ground up to create a modern, practical, and portable version that's still as large as the original but meets the unique needs of the modern, working magician.
Powerful – As powerful as the original, iconic Snow Animator systems, the Snowtable can launch snow 5 m into the air.
Invisible – Snowtable looks like an innocent side table. You can use it as a table for the rest of your show. It's so thin and practical that the audience won't suspect it for a moment, but whenever you want, it transforms into a powerful snow animation system.
Modern – using a digital motor, microprocessors, and over a year of airflow modeling and testing, this is cutting-edge technology developed and refined to create a spectacular magical finale.
Quiet – at only 66 dB, it is much quieter than any other system on the market.
Convenient – the table. The tabletop is the size and weight of a laptop (and safe as carry-on luggage!), meaning you can take it on many airlines for free. We also supply the legs, but if you prefer, you can travel with just the tabletop, as it comes with adapters that allow you to screw it onto virtually any microphone stand in the world. It also connects to many camera tripods and display mount systems, giving you the widest possible range of stands to attach it to anywhere.
Safe—instead of a questionable lithium battery hidden inside (something cruise lines explicitly don't let performers use due to a series of fires), the Snowtable uses regular batteries that you can buy at any local store. Most airlines will let you fly with regular consumer batteries, and if not... throw the batteries away and buy new ones at a store after landing. You'll also never have to worry about whether the table is charged before a show again.
Refined and tested by real artists, the Snowtable is designed for practical use. Use it as a table throughout your show. Then, when you're ready to perform "Snow," simply press the hidden "MJ Switch" on the back of the table to put it into standby mode. Now, placing something (like the glass of water) back on the corner of the table triggers a pressure sensor, which (after a 5-second delay) activates the animation system for 30 seconds and then automatically shuts off.
If you're working in a smaller venue with lower ceilings, simply press the internal switch to put the entire unit into power saving mode, where it will run at 50% power.
If you're a performing artist, this is the perfect way to add one of the greatest finales of all time to your show, with a prop so small and convenient, you'll LOVE it!
